Special Event: “Wharton” Ghost Walk with Guest, Regional Author Wendy Webb (October 18, 3-5pm)
Walk the spooky streets of “Wharton” with historical tour guide Liz, and special guest Wendy Webb! As the “Queen of Northern Gothic”, author Wendy Webb has penned several novels set in “Wharton”, a fictional town based on Bayfield, WI. In this special 2-hour walking tour, Liz will guide you to sites around town that are mentioned in Wendy’s books, such as “Harrison’s House”, “LuAnn’s”, “Ile de Colette”, and more!
This walking tour will run rain-or-shine on Saturday, October 18, from 3-5pm. Please check the weather beforehand and come prepared to spend two hours outdoors. The tour will start and end at Honest Dog Books in Bayfield, WI. There will be a book signing and reading with Wendy Webb at Honest Dog Books, following the walking tour.
